This is it! SUPER TUESDAY AT LAST!

The most politically-charged primary day in several decades is upon us. Twenty-four of the 50 states hold nominating contests today, yielding a huge haul of delegates to this summer's nominating conventions to choose the candidates for the November election. The Republicans will likely have a chosen candidate by the end of the day, but what about the Democrats?

According to the Washington Times: "The battle between senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton is not expected to be settled today, though a resounding win by either candidate could confound the conventional wisdom. Mr. Obama, of Illinois, had opened up a double-digit lead in California in this morning’s latest poll, up on Mrs. Clinton, of New York, by 49 percent to 36 percent, with a 3.3 point margin of error. California awards 370 Democratic delegates.

Mrs. Clinton had pulled ahead slightly in New Jersey, however, 46 percent to 41 percent, with a 3.4 point margin of error. There are 1,681 delegates at stake today for the Democrats. The candidates need 2,025 to get the nomination. Mrs. Clinton currently holds a 261 to 191 delegate lead."

And Edwards has still "officially" suspended his campaign.

I was asking the poll workers if they heard how much trouble NY was having? Nobody knew anything about anything.

Last year my polling place had only one voting machine. This year, they were all voting machines except 2 little regular booths!!!!! I thought our S.O.S. said No Voting Machines.

I just hope all of our votes everywhere get counted. It's a mess. And no one is doing anything about it!!!!

Hi Guys.
Never seen the caucus for my minneapolis suburb precinct so packed. Not enough parking, not enough ballots.

I am not sure how big the fascist turnout was (it was at the same school).

But the number of voters in my DEM precinct was about 5x than what I have seen in the past. SO I gotta hope the reason there was no parking was because the dems showed up in record numbers.

My district is pretty fascist. Not foaming at the mouth fascist, but the quiet smile at you, then wound or kill you kind of fascist. With a bit of "let us kill for god" thrown in.

Will it be enough to overturn the rigged vote count? Maybe. I a pessimist, but the turn out in my fascist district/precinct was overwhelming.

I asked the reps of several DEM candidates how they felt about re-opening the 9.11 investigation but that isn't even on their radar screen. Impeachment the same.

Massive numbers showed up to vote for prez. Not enough ballots!

It was really unorganized, and we didn't have time to discuss the other candidates: one for the senate seat that the fascists stole from Wellstone, and then installed that tuna sandwich, norm coleman.

The other candidates I hoped to hear more about were for a house seat being vacated by a quiet fascist, not the type of fascist who would goose step or actually get his hands dirty beating up the poor, women, or other minorities. He would just vote to set up the camps, and let the goose steppers do the dirty work. Anyway,

There are three dems vying for that house seat, and I had hoped to hear more about them.

There was no vote on that tonight, votes will be taken by delegates at the next level. But ususlly at caucus you could hear about the different candidate positions, maybe even meet one or two. Not tonight, as they STRUGGLED to get everyone in the room and a ballot.
