Prince Andrew rebukes US on Iraq
The Duke of York has criticised the US administration for failing to listen to advice from Britain on how to avoid problems following the war in Iraq.

. . . .
He said the US should have learned lessons from British colonial history.

. . . .
"If you are looking at colonialism, if you are looking at operations on an international scale, if you are looking at understanding each other's culture, understanding how to operate in a military insurgency campaign - we have been through them all," he said.

"We've won some, lost some, drawn some. The fact is there is quite a lot of experience over here which is valid and should be listened to."

. . . .

You know we are at an all time low when a member of the British royal family admonishes our leadership on its lack of understanding of the history of British colonialism. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and James Madison must be looking down on our country and weeping. Our nation was born of the failures of British colonialism -- but Bush and his buddies learned nothing. And Bush majored in history at Yale. What in the world do they teach at that school? This is the worst moment in all of our history. It's one thing to make mistakes, even costly ones. It is another to betray the essential values on which your very existence is based. Bush has managed to do both: make costly mistakes and betray the essential values on which the existence of the America is based.

2. That was Bush's whole point for being pushed into the Presidency
And the people who were behind him are also at the top of the British government. I think Prince Andrew ought to look inward as well as at us.

5. Who is "They"?
If you mean Tony Blair and his bobbleheads, the answer is simple; coz Dick Cheney told them to.

Otherwise, there is no "they".

6. They did more than just follow.

Their war criminal, poodle prime minister actively aided and abetted the war crime by helping provide the phony case for war.
