North american union ?
This seems to be going forward as I sit here typing . I have not heard much about this , certainly not on the news shows .

What I feel most times is this amoung many other issues which threaten out very society are over shadowed by all the 2008 presidential campaigns .

Are we being lulled into a mass of fools while people focus on elections and these sick drawn out Anna Nichole stories and shaved heads in hollywood ?

I know I keep rantig about the same thing time and time again but we must not be asleep , not now or we will wake up soon to find out we have been stripped down to the nub and elections won;t fix this or fix this war and the pending one on Iran .

This is all just madness and insane in my eyes , things are near the edge of falling off the cliff and nothing seems to be stopping this . Perhaps we have already fallen off the cliff and people for the most part just hope for the best , that they will not be affected some how .

1. I've heard the theory
Of merging the US, Canada, and Mexico into a North American Union similar to the EU to counter their growing clout. It certainly seems that we are headed in that direction. It might be a good idea if the citizens of the 3 countries all had living standards such as those of Canada and the US, but most likely we'll all have our standard of living lowered to those similar to Mexico. 2. We are already well headed for a lower standard of living
It's a real deal with american jobs being shipped away or closed down . Most jobs pay at best $10 per hour even with an education and degrees .

We are now a lost cause in this country so you are right , we will be a third world order mixed in some sort of hell .

3. Jerome CORSI, wingut a-hole, is pushing this conspiracy theory, also Lou DOBBS
CORSI wrote the hit job on John KERRY, "Unfit for Command," and then co-wrote another crap book with GILCRIST of the Minutemen. Of course, somebody in another thread lectured me that just because CORSI is pimping this it doesn't make the conspiracy untrue. CORSI is a frequent guest on the Art BELL wannabe George NOORY circus, the one that last year was saying Yellowstone was going to explode inside of 30 days. Last year.

Security and Prosperity Partnership Of North America

http://www.spp.gov/myths_vs_facts.asp Text
Myth vs. Fact
Myth: The SPP was an agreement signed by Presidents Bush and his Mexican and Canadian counterparts in Waco, TX, on March 23, 2005.

Fact: The SPP is a dialogue to increase security and enhance prosperity among the three countries. The SPP is not an agreement nor is it a treaty. In fact, no agreement was ever signed.

Myth: The SPP is a movement to merge the United States, Mexico, and Canada into a North American Union and establish a common currency.

Fact: The cooperative efforts under the SPP, which can be found in detail at www.spp.gov, seek to make the United States, Canada and Mexico open to legitimate trade and closed to terrorism and crime. It does not change our courts or legislative processes and respects the sovereignty of the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The SPP in no way, shape or form considers the creation of a European Union-like structure or a common currency. The SPP does not attempt to modify our sovereignty or currency or change the American system of government designed by our Founding Fathers. ....more

Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
.... Canadian criticism has also been directed at the North American Competitiveness Council (NACC), a committee made up of 10 CEOs each from Mexico, the United States and Canada, which has been asked to reduce the over 300 recommendations in the SPP down to about 30 achievable goals. NACC members include CEOs from Wal-Mart, Chevron, Lockheed Martin, FedEx, General Electric and Ford, among others. Of the ten Canadian CEOs on the NACC, nine are members of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, the driving force behind the North American Free Trade Agreement, and the Canadian representative on the trinational Task Force on the Future of North America, whose recommendations led to the creation of the SPP.

The NACC will meet with government reps from all three countries to discuss their proposals in September 2006.

North American Union to Replace USA?

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted May 19, 2006

.... President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed.

The blueprint President Bush is following was laid out in a 2005 report entitled "Building a North American Community" published by the left-of-center Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The CFR report connects the dots between the Bush administration's actual policy on illegal immigration and the drive to create the North American Union: ....

Bush Administration Quietly Plans NAFTA Super Highway

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted Jun 12, 2006

.... A good reason Bush does not want to secure the border with Mexico may be that the administration is trying to create express lanes for Mexican trucks to bring containers with cheap Far East goods into the heart of the U.S., all without the involvement of any U.S. union workers on the docks or in the trucks.

Mr. Corsi is the author of several books, including "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry" (along with John O'Neill), "Black Gold Stranglehold: The Myth of Scarcity and the Politics of Oil" (along with Craig R. Smith), and "Atomic Iran: How the Terrorist Regime Bought the Bomb and American Politicians." He is a frequent guest on the G. Gordon Liddy radio show. He will soon co-author a new book with Jim Gilchrist on the Minuteman Project.

North American Union Would Trump U.S. Supreme Court

by Jerome R. Corsi
Posted Jun 19, 2006

The Bush Administration is pushing to create a North American Union out of the work on-going in the Department of Commerce under the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America in the NAFTA office headed by Geri Word. A key part of the plan is to expand the NAFTA tribunals into a North American Union court system that would have supremacy over all U.S. law, even over the U.S. Supreme Court, in any matter related to the trilateral political and economic integration of the United States, Canada and Mexico. ....

Thursday, May 18, 2006 by Jerome R. Corsi -- The Senate voted to approve the amendment submitted by Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., to build a 370-mile section of triple-layered fence along the Mexican border. Now the Bush administration is trying to push this as a victory for conservative ...

6. Well, they're keeping fear of the brown bogeyman alive and fermenting.
Corsi sounds like a guy who has his pointy white hat on a bit too tight. Dobbs is the "kinder, gentler" and more respectable breed of racist.

10. Well then, that settles it. If the gov't says it's true, it must be!
I'm glad they cleared that up. We all know that the US gov't has NEVER lied to or misled the American public concerning its intentions.

Myth: The SPP is a movement to merge the United States, Mexico, and Canada into a North American Union and establish a common currency.

Just because a jerk off, i.e. Corsi, thinks the SPP is a bad idea doesn't automatically mean that it's a good idea. I'm not going to disagree with someone on one issue simply because I disagree with him on other issues.

4. Aren't you interested in the latest scandal ? Don't bother yourself with
important issues, leave that to the experts.

Afterall, Condi, George, and the rest of the gang assure us that the SPP is only about economic issues. Don't be concerned about things that will only upset you.

end of sarcasm

13. Shhhhhhhhhhhhh. You're disturbing the Accepted Status Quo!
Edited on Sat Feb-24-07 06:00 PM by TheWatcher
What are you trying to do, disturb the delicate Matrix that most Americans live in?

Get yourself together lad.

Repeat after me. Nothing bad ever happens in Pleasantville.

Back to your fast food and Reality TV now. That's a Good Little Citizen.

The North American Union is real. And by the time the people of this country do wake up to it, it will be too late.

But not to worry. We have another pointless War to fight in a couple of months, and with all the Celebrity Breakdowns to pay attention to, most of us have to prioritize.

At least there are plenty of ways for us to feed our terminal denial, while we wait for our Empire to fall.

In Rome, Nero fiddled.

In America, we will do the fiddling.

Yes , what was I thinking bringing this topic up . It scares the hell out of me . There are times I wish I could enter the ether and be absorbed by the media tv to forget , however I can't seem to do that .

I do fear too that by the time people do wake up to this reality it will be far to late . Through their ignorenece they will take us all down with them just as they have been doing since bush came along .
