Rep. Ron Lewis, R, KY, drops out at last minute! (Incumb)

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) -- U.S. Rep. Ron Lewis ended his re-election campaign on Tuesday in a surprise last-minute move.

Lewis withdrew from the race only moments before the campaign filing deadline at 4 p.m. EST on Tuesday. His chief of staff, Daniel London, filed to enter the race. Republican state Sen. Brett Guthrie also filed for the seat.

"All of this happened in the final minutes - actually literally in the final seconds," said Secretary of State Trey Grayson
