History Channel: The Anthrax Attacks Were an Inside Job

The US investigation of the anthrax attacks was a "sham" and the attacks were an obvious inside job. Now, the History Channel openly characterizes them as the work of the US government.

Not long after the televised attacks on New York City, US citizens were attacked by the government of the United States itself, though it was hoped that the American people would accept the ruse and swallow an absurd cover that some radical, Islamic terrorist had somehow gotten hold of US "weapons grade" anthrax and was threatening only Democrats and media unfriendly to the Bush junta. Bob Stevens, photo editor for American Media’s tabloid Sun lay critically ill in a Florida hospital diagnosed as having inhaled anthrax. He would die, no doubt a victim of the US government itself. He would join about 3,000 other victims of the treasonous war this government has waged upon the people of America.

In short order, other laced envelopes appeared, most notably letters addressed to Senators Tom Daschle and Patrick Leahy. As Ed Encho accucrately points out in the comments section, Tom Daschle was Democratic Senate Majority Leader; Patrick Leahy was Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman. These men might have used their positions to stop the implementation of the USA Patriot Act, a blueprint for the tyranny with which we live now. Method, motive, and opportunity!

The "anthrax attacks" are all but forgotten now, overshadowed by Bush's calamitous war against Iraq, his egregious assault on the Constitution and the rule of law, and by the economic ruin his mis-rule has brought upon the nation, the enmity that he has earned throughout the world.

The anthrax attacks in the United States, also known as Amerithrax from its FBI case name, occurred over the course of several weeks beginning on September 18, 2001. Letters containing anthrax spores were mailed to several news media offices and two Democratic US Senators, killing five people and infecting 17 others. The crime remains unsolved.

they've actually been getting a lot right lately. I've been watching them quite a bit, except for the bible nonsense they put on during the weekend.

The anthrax mailings are the only insider conspiracy theory I'll give credence to, mostly because they were so incredibly clumsy. First, they used weaponized anthrax that was easily traced back to the CIA lab at Ft. Detrick. Second, they could only fill those envelopes within the highest level containment facility without causing significant environmental contamination. There has been none. Third, the targets, media and political, were obvious as hell, with only the few unintended consequences among mail handlers and one unexplained death in NYC. Fourth, weaponized anthrax is extremely difficult to produce and once weaponized, even more difficult to handle; it can't be done outside a high level lab and the process the US government uses is top secret. Fifth, the FBI got to the doors of Ft. Detrick and have been stonewalled for the past 7 years on viewing internal records and tapes.

Add it all up, the picture becomes damning, especially since the first media figure to be attacked and subsequently die did nothing more than publish an embarrassing photo of the drunken twins.

The History Channel is only pointing out the obvious. You bet it was an inside job. The only question is which family member ordered it. The motivation, given the government's alacrity in blaming Saddam, was to justify a war against Iraq. Too bad Iraq's experiments into weaponizing ran into a brick wall because they never figured out the process, using bentonite to try to abrade the bug's outer waxy coating and failing miserably, allowing the story to be debunked all over the net within hours.

In any case, the History Channel has become worth watching again, at least during the week.

At least some White House personnel were given Cipro six weeks ago. White House officials won't discuss who might be receiving the anthrax-treating antibiotic now.

On the night of the Sept. 11 attacks, the White House Medical Office dispensed Cipro to staff accompanying Vice President Dick Cheney as he was secreted off to the safety of Camp David, and told them it was "a precaution," according to one person directly involved.

At that time, nobody could guess the dimensions of the terrorists' plot.

But no one still knows the truth on this, and the idea of it being Islamic fundamentalists does not hold water. So we are left with people or persons pretending to be Islamic fundamentalists. Certainly there is at least some kind of criminal conspiracy.


I had at one time thought that it might be an agri-business thing, since both senators had cosponsored certain agricultural bills that were family farm friendly and agri business detrimental. If there was a sample of the ames strain sitting around in an old ag lab with a professor with an axe to grind because he lost some grant money.

But I don't know... it just seemed like another theory.
