Poll question: How Should We Thank Skinner for moving the "Mosh Pit" to GD-Primaries?
I know I'm breathin' a little easier.

2. Actually, I don't really get the re-formulation. If you're not into politics or
campaigns, why are you here? There's a Lounge for sideshow stuff. It's like going to a Thai restaurant for a hamburger and fries, and complaining about the smell of hot peppers and cilantro.

7. No argument there, but I wasn't trying to make a case for all campaigns all the time--
I just see politics as frequently intertwined with campaigns, especially given that our top candidates are active Senators--when they make a vote (like Kyl-Lieberman) or propose legislation, where does that go? GD or GDP?

16. I'm not a mod but
I would say if it's a thread focusing on the actual legislation, it's GD. If it's about how it will affect their campaign, or anything resembling "OMFG <insert candidate> IS A BIG POO POO HEAD BECAUSE HE VOTED FOR THIS!!!111" it's GDPooflinging material.

5. There's LOTS of important things to talk about
that are NOT all tied up in the primaries...
(Congress is back in session and about to give the telecoms a free pass about spying on us all, for instance)
