GOPers Play "Find the Illegal Immigrant."
Student members of the College Republicans at elite New York University are sponsoring a game called "Find the Illegal Immigrant." The game is a mock hunt for illegal immigrants. A student wears a tag during the course of the day identifying him or herself as an illegal immigrant, and the first student acting as an immigration enforcement agent to find the student wins a prize.

College Republicans at the school have stated they are seeking to raise awareness of the issue of illegal immigration. Other students say the game is embarrassing and racist. Around 60 student have signed up to play the game today, while about 500 students have signed up to protest the game.

NYU released a statement to the media saying that the College Republicans have a right to free speech and they encourage the kind of debate that the publicity stunt has inspired on the campus.

1. In 1860 they would have been playing "Find the Runaway Slave"

Except that then, it would have been the "Elite College Democrats".

2. Ah, those nutty college republics!
Just good fun, you know! Sure, republic's idea of fun always seems to come at the expense of others, and usually in a vile, racist sort of way which they can never seem to grasp, but hey...they're just kids, right?

3. You won't find any chickenshit chickenhawk young republican
serving his/her country in Iraq or anywhere else for that matter. You also won't find them harvesting vegetables or cleaning motel rooms. They are too busy convincing each other there is an immigrant "problem," and that they are brave patriots in search of the abramoff degree. They will eventually turn to white collar crime and become old republicans.

They are the product of conservatism in America today. What a waste.

4. The little hypocrites
A lot of them probably grew up with illegals as gardeners, house cleaners, and nannies but then they didn't have a problem with it. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them get a good talking to from the parents. If the supply of illegal labor dried up the cost of maintaining the old MacMansion could get a bit more onerous.

5. I remember the good old days (1992) when college used to open your mind
What a pathetic display. Eat your heart out Nazi Germany.
