What is a "conservative"? They seem to be hateful, murdering tyrants.
They advocate hate, 24/7.

They are obsessed with destroying any life, all life (except the UNBORN) that gets in their way of short-term gratification.

They PUSH 'certain' morals ONLY WHEN IT SERVES THEIR IMMEDIATE PERSONAL INTERESTS.

They NEVER separate their personal interests from others' needs, the personal TAKING PRIORITY.

What is with these "conservatives"?

I think, when the so-called "compassionate conservative" possessed the Republican party, they were interested in neither 'compassion' or 'conservative'. Those power-mongering fucks committed treason against their own party and have engaged in treason against this nation.

I type this post on behalf of those friends and family who WERE "republican" and still ARE human beings who care about the state of this nation.

2. They're sociopaths.

They never got beyond the first stage of moral reasoning because they never needed to - when you're born into money and power and privilege you never have to compromise or be nice or think about other people or take anything less than what you want. Nothing ever happens to you to make you realize that other people are real and have worth and feelings and thoughts of their own and aren't just there to satisfy you. No one ever tells you no or sets boundaries and limits.

To use the story I read in a book about Buddha as metaphor - Buddha had to leave the castle to find enlightenment. And even then he had to be genetically predisposed to empathy and moral development to feel anything when he saw sickness and old age and death. I think the current crop of conservatives are the "perfect storm" of nature and nurture - genetically predisposed to be assholes and then raised to be assholes.

They despise him and what he's done to the repub party and to this country. They will never forgive him over Katrina. That's what set it all in motion for them.

4. I think it means you have to be anti union and all for cheap labor. You
must believe in tax cuts for the rich, and borrow and spend as being conservative.

6. if you're talking about Republicans

then first of all they are NOT conservatives. Conservatives want to conserve the status quo. By and large Republicans are reactionary, Democrats are conservative and there are maybe one or two federal progressives.

As for murdering people - that isn't done for the pure joy of it. People NEED to get rid of this idea of politicians salivating at the mouth at the thought of dead brown folk.

Not one Democrat President in at least the last 50 years was averse to murdering and exploiting people in foreign lands for the benefit of US business.

The unpleasant reality that we in the west steal from and kill people in the developing world will not change one iota under a Democrat administration.

The problem is EMPIRE not Republicans. Until people look at changing the structure there's not a lot of point rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.
