I'm dreaming of a brokered convention...

Edwards, Obama, Clinton...whatever you do....DON'T DROP OUT...stay in this race all the way to Denver. We might get Al Gore, yet!!

Short of that...Edwards and Obama--get together and make a deal...after Super Tuesday, whichever one is in the lead stays, the other gets out with the promise of being #2 on the ticket. And, tell everybody that's the deal as soon as it happens.

1. Sounds good to me.
With Obama and Hillary so close, Edwards is a very important person.

2. Edwards cannot and will not be the VP candidate

It would be a joke, the media would tear him apart as our perennial VP candidate, ect.

You're not going to have a campaign about change if you're playing reruns.

I doubt there would be a brokered convention, but it would certainly be exciting.

Remember, after the first ballot, pledged delegates can make their own decisions on who they vote for, they aren't beholden to their original candidate.

3. But Richardson Sounds Tailor-Made for the Job
If anyone ever asked me, that's who I'd recommend.

4. I agree.
And think that was the point of his VP audition campaign over the past year or so.

5. Very good point, didn't think of that. Probably true.
