1. Hang on Shadow ....
It's just begun to get crazy here.

Wait until we get closer to February and Super Tuesday. And even then, it won't stop for two years after that ... just give way to mid-terms instead.

We survive and we live to bicker another day.

4. In Portland, Oregon? I don't even have a team to root for!
Naw, politics is better.

3. Actually, no...
I don't think we're all on the same team.

Most of us are, perhaps, but there are certainly a vocal few whose intentions aren't exactly what they appear to be.

'04 was pretty abusive around here, and the jury is still out on whether this cycle is better or worse than that one. Not sure what I think.

5. You spoke my thoughts, TwilightZone. That's the second time in two days.

I think I'm in love and I don't even know anything about you 'cept you're a guy from Texas. :hi:

On another topic:

By the way, I've tried to get this quote to show in my posts but have no idea how to do that. Maybe you know how... I thought you have to put it in "COMMENTS" but then it showed up in my journal. Maybe it goes into the "SIGNATURE" but that's where the photo of the old-time gal with the radio has been for months.

The relative anonymity of the internet certainly does seem to "embolden" people -- Or, at the very least, it allows their inner obnoxious jerk to run free. DUer Twilight Zone

6. Hehe...
I'm glad that I seem to be on the same wavelength with SOMEONE. Some days, I wonder if I'm the only crazy one in a normal world or if I'm the only sane one in the asylum.

Re: the quote - you can add it to your signature section through your profile. Click Options, then Edit Your Profile. Whatever you place in the Signature box will show up in your posts.

I'm flattered, by the way. Thanks for your kind words. See you around. ;)

7. I think this whole process of posting on forums is satisfying some deep urge in us to be connected.
Yeah, that's it. If you can stand the gossip, the mistreatment, the stupidities, and the general flogging you get from the unknowns, it's a great place to be mentally and verbally adventurous.

OT:

I'll fool around with that signature line, but the last time, it barfed because the photo was oversized, or my line was more than 255 characters... or something.

Thanks for the wink and have a great week if I don't CU@theDU.
