2. I don't care about who won cuz I'm supporting the nominee. I'm sad for Biden.
If I had chosen a candidate he'd have been my guy.
I'm happy a black man was able to win. It's about time.

I'm fucking ecstatic that DEMS are so motivated. That can't be nothing but good. Rethugs are skeerd.

5. And not just a black man, but a black man in Iowa with a
Muslim name. Wow!

7. I agree with your entire post
I was sad about Biden last night, but I expected it. Perhaps the next prez will make him SOS.

3. I'm indifferent, mixed
I'm not working for Kucinich anymore, not sure whether I want to support Obama or Edwards. I like what Edwards says about corporations but I also remember how he voted while in the Senate. I don't hate Obama but I'm not seeing the magic somehow. He has voted as well to fund the war. Never did want Clinton.

4. It depends on what you mean by "by what happened in Iowa"
If you mean how 95% of registered Democrats stayed home and ignored the caucus, I'd say I feel disgusted.

9. As an Edwards supporter, I'm UPSET!

And I'm tired of hearing that Americans want "change", without the "pundits" (AKA, people who get paid tons of money to spout opinions based on apparently a lot less than even I know) mentioning FROM WHAT.

It ISN'T just "change", which would make ANY candidate, even Huckabee, seem "okay"; it's about RESTORING the RULE of LAW, after the CRIMINAL BUSH MALADMINISTRATION.

But the name "BUSH" is NEVER, EVER even UTTERED!!

I thought Edwards would be in front and I am not sure why he did not do that. New Hampshire will shed more light hopefully.

12. It is still a long way to November!!
The Iowa Caucus shows one thing and one thing only-the general mood of the people at this particular time.
There is still so much that can happen. Obama's win today does not automatically give him a date with the Chief Justice in January.

I, personally, am not willing to give up on my candidate. I think John Edwards has a great message, and I also believe he has the potential to do a Harry Truman come the first Tuesday in November!!!!!

13. Hot damn! People in Iowa braved the cold to...
vote for a Black man and a woman.

But there's still people around here who believe every silver lining must have a cloud.

15. I could totally get behind any of the Dems.
I'll always be mad about Hillary's self-serving IWR vote, but I have gotten over it to the extent that I would vote for and support her in the general. Obama's statements about gays is disturbing, but not being gay I guess it doesn't affect me as much as others on DU. Edwards non-stop "my father was a mill worker" mantra continues to irritate me four years after he started saying it.

Bottom line is I'm fairly indifferent, although it is thrilling to think about a black first family.

I DO believe that almost everything is about Iraq. I'm not sure if Hillary knew what we on DU, and numerous honest reps and senators, knew about the bogus intelligence regarding WMDs. If she did and voted for the war anyway, she deserves what she's getting.

17. Cheerful! I can live with either Obama or Edwards...
... and they came in First and Second. So that went well.

(I was a Kucinich supporter until the "Ron Paul for VP" thing.)
