was there as much leaked information about planning, targets, goals, etc. as there is now about Iran?

I was still in college in 2002-2003 and I was not on DU at the time. Most of my "news" came from MSM sources.

I just see the constant flow of leaks, especially to the British news agencies, as evidence that this whole thing is inevitable. Was it as obvious to DUers that Bush was going to Iraq as it is to me now that we are going to Iran soon?

FWIW I also see the UK and Denmark decision to pull out as further evidence that Iran is going down soon, since these countries don't want any part of the accompanying fallout.

I wonder if the MSM was as critical about the lack of evidence as there is now. Lots of folks in the MSM are bringing up the cry wolf idea that Bush has nothing.
