Ah, the News...
Edited on Wed Jan-02-08 06:06 PM by orleans
this afternoon i heard the local radio news report

first, i heard a familiar voice--that of jonathan turley (constitutional scholar! and frequent guest on olbermann's) saying the justice department has opened a formal investigation, that there are possibly 6 (maybe he said 12) counts of criminal wrongdoing with new ones being added every week! (google it and here is today's piece by him http://jonathanturley.org/2008/01/02/justice-department-opens-formal-criminal-investigation-finds-credible-allegations-of-criminal-conduct/ )

i was so happy to hear local radio playing an audio clip of him--and surprised

then i heard

fuckabee is going to appear on leno
fuckabee says leno has an agreement with the writers union
writers union says "no he doesn't" and picketers are already outside with anti-fuckabee signs by leno

hillary will appear on letterman because letterman owns the show and does have an agreement with the writer's union (score one point for the dems!)

and the stock market had a "stinker of a day" with oil prices going up over $100 per barrel for awhile

the news was ... interesting to actually "hear" rather than just reading about it today.
