My new company offers health insurance to domestic partners
Its a large international corporation and I'm reading through the materials and suddenly there it is- domestic partners and their children are covered by health insurance. (Domestic partners being defined by living together for 12 months, same sex). I haven't seen that before. Little ray of hope that the world is changing.

1. This has been a perk at more enlightened companies for awhile now.
Congrats on landing a gig with one of them.

5. It can't really cost them any more, and not having it
could cost them good employees. So its sensible. And it reinforces that discrimination is wrong.
