Bhuttos death ties in with xmas eve announcement by Gates...
(I believe it was Xmas eve, may have been over the week end)
Gates announced that US troops would be entering into Pakistani territory soon, ingongruously he then said that he was entering into talks with Musharraf to get permission to do just that. Whatever, the Bhutto murder fits the needs of the moment well.

Her death will spark huge riots all over the country, that will bring back the not so long ago cancelled martial law. The PAkistani Army will be spread thin taking care of all the riots. IN effect hog-tieing the anti-American element(who are strong) in the Armies top staffers. This will allow a cover for another ill-equipped, and undermanned effort to find bin Laden(he has been carefully preserved for this election year). Gates though in Rummy tradition also announced that no 'surge' of troops will take place in Afgahnistan.

Futile, incompetence, un-necessary killings, disruptions of sovereign nations...same old shit, different day. Cheney couldn't get Iran, and omnce again the ignorant, stupid Democrat leaders and members in general went on a celebration spree never remembering that President Cheney has never been known not to have a backup disaster already layed out.

I have a SpecWarOps son due back very soon from his 3rd tour Afghan-Iraq-Afghan, Some better hope to whatever piles of dung they worship he comes back breathing and whole!

1. Excuse the tinfoil on my head.
But, when dickie's office burned, and he seemed so delighted, it may have been a smoke signal. It may have been the trigger to move forward.

19. the government has always lied to us

its not an excuse for irrationality. Suggesting the government is running around taking down internet blog articles is absolutely insane, almost as insane as pointing to Bush/Cheney every single time someone dies.

6. War is a racket. The racketeers need distractions.
Oil. Natural gas. Enron pipelines thru Afganistan and Pakistan to India. $. Gen. Smedley D. Butler pointed all of this out and Gen Washington's Farewell Address to the Nation pointed out 'foreign entanglements' were to be avoided (along with 'partisanship' politics).

GOP specializes in getting us INTO messes, not out of them.
