Biden: Next president needs foreign policy experience
The more Biden keeps this up, the more it helps Clinton as she is most likely to be the 2nd choice of Biden supporters. His supporters who value foreign policy experience are unlikely to go to Edwards or Obama in Iowa precincts where he will be unviable.

Oskaloosa, Ia. A presidential election with so much at stake regarding the United States standing in a tumultuous world should not end with a president with expertise limited to domestic issues, Sen. Joe Biden said today.

I think the American people intuitively know there is one thing you do not want based on the past 15 years. You dont want a governor who doesnt know about foreign policy, he said to a crowd of about 35 who listened to him for an hour and a half here at Smokey Row Coffeehouse.

Biden, a Democratic candidate for president, ditched a stump speech for an intimate question-and answer-session with the potential caucusgoers, but made no mention of The Des Moines Registers endorsement today of fellow Democratic candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Afterward, he admitted losing the papers nod following a debate sponsored by the newspaper where he was lauded with the best performance was disappointing.

The paper was fair to me. They really gave me a shot, he said. I honestly thought we were in the race.

4. I'm sure nothing I could say would change your mind, but let me try.
Yes, joe is from Del. and Del. has been the corproate haven for a LONG TIME! Not only CC's but corporate incorporation headquarters as well. That's been the case for a lot longer than Joe is old!

A Senator doesn't have anything to do with State Laws! That is just the way Delaware decided to set the rules.

If you are going to smack him down for supporting the bankruptcy bill, there are a few things you need to recognize too. Part of the backruptcy bill included eleiminating the ability of dead beat dads from walking away from child support. THAT is very important to a lot of families! I accept that there should be an adjustment to the law that would incorporate bankruptcies caused by medical bills, and I happen to think that will happen when we get a large enough Dem majority. There were more good things in that bill than bad, and a Senator who votes against the whole bill because he doesn't get everything he wants is not doing his job!

Look at the contributions that Joe has gotten over the years, and you will find that he has received FAR LESS in his career than most of the others have received in one year!

3. I like Joe, may vote for him, and agree with him. JRE and BO are my 2nd choices. Hillary, my last.
Experience is important, but it isn't the only thing that is important.

5. I don't know about that.
Biden is my #1 choice, but Obama or Edwards would be my #2.

Peace.

7. I think the FP experience is crucial at this point in our history -- more than
it would be if we hadn't occupied Iraq which caused instability to become widespread. I'm not sure who my second choice would be, as none of the other candidates has the hands-on relationships and dialogue established with the world leaders that Biden does.
