The flooding in West will cost untold billions of dollars. Am I cynical to think that Bush was saving a free and no strings attached PR event to squeeze more goodwill out of states that have more red voters??

8. And Washington has a Dem governer and both senators are also Dems.
Washington and Oregon are obviously not high on the priority list with the Bushies.

Oregon's only Republican members of its Congressional delegation are Greg Walden (R) - District 2 and Senator Gordon Smith.

7. Prezactly.
I remember when one of the idiot's first budgetary decisions came down and they decided there wasn't enough to send the Blue Angels to the Air Show during Fleet Week on SF Bay.

So Canada sent their guys and they kicked the Angels collective butt and all the media railed on and on.

All of a sudden, some "surplus" was discovered that would insure that the Angels would be here every year from then on out.

11. They are more specific than the state-wide map. Here is proof
FEMA was fairly prompt in helping Lewis and Grays Harbor counties in Washington after the massive flooding of two weeks ago; coincidentally (?) they are fairly red counties. Thurston County, hit just as badly and which coincidentally (?) has a habit of voting on the blue side of purple, is still waiting for federal aid.

6. Why do you think he let New Orleans drown
and then move the rest of the democratic voters to red states. LA now has a republican governor don't they. Wouldn't have been possible before.

12. Because Texas is so Red it can absorb the Dems from New Orleans, of course.
Why do you suppose public housing in LA is being destroyed?
