two more FORMER bush voters going to vote for Edwards
brother and sis-in-law came to watch the Chiefs game...well the Chiefs were sucking so we started talking politics. They almost voted for Kerry last time around but voted bush because of the abortion issue.

That was AFTER they saw F9/11 and were very angry.

this time around they are good and pissed...

NO way are they voting for any republican...but...had questions on what candidate was good.

we are from a rural town and Edwards One America message resonates with all of us and this time it doesn't matter WHO is for or against abortion

I talked with them that voting for one issue never works in your favor because of all the other issues.

the kicker???

when I showed them how bush and the rw corruption group cut WIC....they use it...

then I played the UTube of Edwards on Real Time with Bill Mahar.

they are firmly in the EDWARDS camp

I think many people will be

7. Here's a link.

Check out the 80 booklet on The Plan to Change America. Not only does he lead on the issues....he's got his plans in book form. It is an 80 page pdf file, so get some fresh ink in your printer!

5. Good news....I don't suppose they live in Iowa do they?
Count my husband as one of those Bush voters firmly in Edwards camp right now. I think his whole family might switch over to Edwards. They are all Iowans, too, which makes this even more sweet.

8. Good on them!
I got one too. A friend of mine, a Republican (yeah, there are a few good ones left) voted for Bush in 2000, repented in 2004 and voted for Kerry, which, he said, was not so much a vote FOR Kerry as AGAINST Bush. He was fed up with this administration. Now, he's really excited about Edwards. He said his vote for Edwards would be a positive vote, not a vote "against" anyone. I've sent him the YouTube of Edwards w/Mahar and the one with Charlie Rose.

10. My very republican dad likes Edwards
Because of the "For the People" message. This is a man who, aside from 1992, has voted republican in every presidential election since Goldwater. He defended Bush up until about six months ago.

11. Why not?
With Edwards MANDATORY health insurance plan rethugs would feel comphy voting for him.

Biden on the other hand is for UNIVERSAL Health care.

13. Edwards is the man of the hour
if you can't see that, then you're not being honest, in my opinion.

- he has a wealth of things to appeal across the divides
- he is southern
- southern christian on top of that
- he has little baggage
- not currently serving in the horrible congress
- good looking
- well spoken
- selling populism at the right time
- reformist

John Edwards is a dream come true for this moment in history. He is a safe win when we need one. The corporatists are trying to pick themselves candidates for us that will lose, guaranteed. By all rights they should be terrified of Edwards.

14. They need to vote for the Democrat regardless if Edwards doesn't win though, so that the corruption
through the government that the Republicans have cultivated can begin to be eliminated.
