Smirking Chimp website is down due to 'malicious hacking'

The Chimp server was the victim of a bit of malicious hacking. Fortunately, I detected the intrusion and was able make a fresh back up of all data before our hard drive was erased. Nothing was lost.

I'm currently reinstalling and reconfiguring all software and related files. I've also changed from Red Hat linux to Ubuntu linux, and the learning curve is a major factor in why you're reading this right now, instead of the Smirking Chimp or Chimpsternation.

But I hope to have everything running properly by Sunday evening. Thanks for your patience.

And thank you for the overwhelming number of emails of concern. I regret that cannot answer them all.
