Was the Annapolis Conference just a show?
I was reading on MSNBC about the United States submitting a UN resolution on Israel/Palestine yesterday and then today withdrawing the resolution, because Palestine and Israel had not seen the document. I wonder if anything really happened at the conference. Was it just a show for Bush* and Rice? What role did the other nations play? It seems that they only came to a dinner to hear Bush* and the leaders of Israel and Palestine.

I'm thinking that with past conferences: Paris (World War I), Yalta (World War II), Carter's Israel/Egypt Conference, and others, Bush* decided his legacy had to include an important conference.

3. Yup it was all scripted...
... sadly the WGA is on strike and * couldn't get any rewrites done... not that he could actually READ the script anyway.

4. It was a show.
But, I have to wonder why?

No legacy helped there, and doubtful anything more will come.

I am afraid it was a pony show of *peace* while the finishing touches are put on an Iranian Campaign.

As soon as the Democrats give chimpy and darth more war money, it will be used in Iran.

7. So glad someone else asked this question.
I'm dying to know if this was a dog and pony show or whether anything of substance was or could be accomplished.
