And everyone likes the beginning,
I am a HUGE fan of the last section where they make it clear the seriousness of if all:
"In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people."
Effing amazing, makes ya all warm and fuzzy inside...
and of course the last paragraph:
"That these united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved...And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."
Geezy creezy, and a tear comes.
To quote the movie "National Treasure": People dont talk that way anymore...
