I'm running for delegate
The NH campaign caucus is on Dec. 15 and to come to the point, I could use some support. I'm not a politician, just very active in my local Dem Committee and the Hillary campaign.

I write letters to the editor, canvas, blog endlessly and phone bank for Hillary. Since May the campaign has been my life.

I've supported Hillary in the pages of the Boston Globe and supported homeless vets on the Op-Ed page of the Union Leader.

If you are a NH for Hillary, 1st Congressional District Dem and plan on attending I ask for your support.

If you know people attending, I ask for your influence. Email friends or whatever. Maybe I can be the first NetRoots elected delegate.

If you have any ideas I'd appreciate those too. I know about partnering with a woman in order to bring loads of friends to vote for each other. But I know very few people and I don't expect much to happen in that regard, unless I find some good people here on DU.

3. On December 15, 2007, seven district-level delegates pledged to Hillary Clinton will be elected at each of the Congressional District Caucuses that the Clinton campaign will hold at the following locations:

1st Congressional District Caucus
Saturday, December 15 at 10:00 a.m.
Painters Hall
34 Commercial Street
Brentwood, NH

Each person voting at the Clinton campaign Congressional District caucuses shall sign a statement certifying that (i) the person will be qualified to vote in the Democratic presidential preference primary and (ii) the person will support Hillary Clinton.

4. Convention delegates selected at the district level shall be allocated in proportion to the percentage of the presidential preference primary vote won by Hillary Clinton in that congressional district. Each presidential candidate who receives at least 15% of the primary vote will be awarded delegates.

To learn more about how to run for delegate download the New Hampshire Democratic Party's brochure - NHDP Delegate Selection Brochure.

The delegate process is open to all voters who wish to participate as Democrats in the presidential primary, including new voters and undeclared voters who wish to register.

The Hillary Clinton for President campaign is committed to empowering every interested Democrat to have an opportunity to participate in delegate process. We are committed to reaching out, have adopted, and are implementing affirmative action programs to ensure our delegation to the Democratic National Convention represents the diversity of New Hampshire.

Most delegates are chosen because they pack the hall with friends and I'd love to pack the hall with the NetRoots.

Thank you and Happy Holidays

2. I think that your activism is awesome.
While I don't agree with you on your candidate, I am in admiration of the length that you go to in regards to seeing your candidate, a dem, elected.

I respect that a great deal. And, I'll add, if Hillary is our nominee, I'll vote for her.

I can't, however, support your warmongering choice for our candidate.

I have ethics and morals to consider, which means I can't support Hillary until it becomes Endgame.

Good luck to you, though.
