5. Yep... Bush said he could control gas prices...
He boasted in a debate that he was an oil man, he knew how the market functioned. If gas was the insanely high price of $1.35 a gallon, it was because Clinton wanted it that way. :eyes:

12. Oh gee since bush stole office gas has gone from $1.50 some
cents a gallon to 3.00 that's double. AND goodness I didn't know Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the House ran the country, I thought bush and band of monsters did..Learn something new every day. Why doesn't she just automatically close down the war in Iraq then, if she is all that powerful and lock bush's ass up where he belongs.

21. Strangely they may have a point...here's why
Had Pelosi acted aggressively on DEMOCRATIC issues and not failed in stopping the administrations wishes...then it is highly probably that the oil companies and producers would have been far less aggressive in their rape of America. Think about it, there is a lot to be said for that line of reasoning. Certainly not what Faux had in mind though, that is a certainty! ;)

23. Everyone knows the Speaker of the House is responsible
for setting gas prices. All Bush can do is to "jawbone OPEC."

So Pelosi is responsible and Bush isn't? Same old formula: zero accountability. Blame Democrats for all policy failures, own on;y your successes. Which becomes really hard when you haven't any.
