Women! Especially Obama Loving wives of Hillary supporters
My wife the Obama nut is driving me fucking nuts. I think I'm ready to leave until after the primary and we can both go to work for Dennis.

After my evening with Bill Clinton, Mrs. NH asked me out to dinner. I thought, "what the fuck". She wants me to go out and sit there like an ass as she tells me all the latest news.

Once I open my mouth by mistake, I'm sunk.

So, I sit there through most of dinner listening to how this Edwards supporter in the OR wants the Edwards campaign to remove their signs so she can get Obama signs. Then there's the so-called Kucinich supporter who loved Nader and can't decide if it's time to make the jump to a candidate who may win. Or the Biden lovers we all know who openly say Joe can't win so they need to decide who to support.

If half these asses were as loyal as Hillary supporters then their candidates might stand a chance.

That's the first thing I said at dinner and it was downhill from there.

She started on the debate and how all the news people called it a draw between H and O. I meekly said we must be on different cable systems. She starts screaming that Obama was great and I should show her where anyone said Hillary won. This 61 yr. old woman is way past .... I better not say that.

Then I sit there listening to how I'm supporting a Bitch. That was it for me.

She left the table before desert when I said..... "If Hillary was a man you'd like her".

Now I'm a friggin bastard and dumb ass Hillary supporter and she hopes all Hillary supporters are as dumb as me.

7. I was just talking to a friend, who says she likes HRC more all the time.
She especially liked the "pregnant pause" after Campbell Brown asked the boys-club question. (HRC just looked at her and said, "Campbell.")

And women all over the country had a moment to reflect on their own struggles to enter the boys-clubs, whether in politics, finance, science, etc.

My friend says the more people call her a bitch, etc. , the more she wants to defend her, and that she thinks all the anonymosity is backfiring.

That's exactly my feeling, too.

By the way, my friend lives in Rethug country in upstate NY, and she knows many Rethug women who crossed parties to vote for her. Which is why she won 75% of the women's vote in New York state.

How Red state Upstate went for Hillary because she went there and listened to them. She went there and they heard her.

They liked what they saw.

29. Hate to disappoint your wife
but at least as far as DU goes, you're one of the smartest Clinton supporters here.

FWIW, neither Obama nor Clinton came anywhere close to "winning". If you both accept that, you'll be well on your way to domestic harmony.

34. In debates not losing is winning
Yes, Joe was hot. woopee.

Hillary not only did not lose, she trumped the big O and stomped Edwards into history.

She through Obama a series of softballs and he didn't even see them coming. Hillary knew he'd miss. Any politician worth their support would have nailed those but he struck out.

That is what lack of experience is about. He'd be so sad in the face of a full out rethug attack, so sad.

But hey, thanks for the compliment and please realize I'm on my 4th drink.... :toast:

33. NewHampster, you crack me up.
I, too, know how tough it is to be a Hillary supporter and live with an Obama supporter - one of my roommates supports Obama. Actually, she's technically torn between Hillary and Obama and hasn't decided who she'll vote for yet, but for the sake of annoying me, she speaks lovingly of Obama all the time. Though I was very pleased when she said to me today, "I heard that Hillary did really well last night."
