DIAMONDS OR PEARLS?
This question has been bothering me since last night. It was such a stupid question asked by someone who I don't believe for a minute was an undecided voter. (Wasn't that who these questions were supposed to have come from?)

Diamonds or pearls?

Millions of Americans have to choose between food, gas or medications every day.

Diamonds or pearls?

Hillary chose both.

I can only pray that there will be a time when Americans who live in poverty won't have to choose between what is REALLY IMPORTANT anymore.

1. It was a joke. A reference to the "boxers or briefs" question to Bill Clinton in 1992.
Hillary (and all the other candidates) recognized the joke and responded accordingly.

11. Yes, I am fully aware what this was in reference to.
I realize it was supposed to be a joke.

That wasn't my point.

I don't blame Hillary for this question. I don't even fault her for the answer.

My point is bigger than that.

2. Well, since millions of people worldwide have to choose between food, gas or meds
I suggest you never, ever again buy any jewelry, go out to dinner, go on a vacation.

You must sit at home at suffer just as much as those people.

5. So obviously planted it wasn't even funny
Clinton just so happened to have her answer ready and it just so happened it at the end of the debate.

7. I nearly barfed.

I have never seen so inane a debate in my entire life. Essentially a do-over for HRC, as she screwed the last one. Essentially the same questions, but she obviously memorized her answers a bit better. She even got to rebut and/or clarify several of her answers from the previous debate. ECH.

I thought Biden was better this time, though. He got his points across in a straight manner, as did my hero, DK...In fact, if it wasn't for Kucinich's "call to IMPEACH" being loudly cheered by the crowd and hushed by Blitzen, the entire thing would have been absolutely unwatchable.
