Blunt priorities, choices, for the greatest, long term good?
You and I know we're not going to leave Iraq - as much as we want that - today, tomorrow or next week. I figure it'll be a scale down over time.

Withdrawal needs to be a priority.

That said, what are other venues where we can rebuild a progressive agenda?

1. I would hope to see us rebuild a healthy distance between Church and State...

...and work on issues to restore our Bill of Rights...also, in terms of labor, a focused effort to restore a broad middle-class in this country.


On Edit: without a restoration of Constitutional safeguards, and the reconstruction of a working class, citizenship in this nation loses its...lustre...for lack of a better term.

3. yes, agreed...the potential benefits for the relief of suffering...

5. It was very nice today...
...got a fire goin' in the fireplace right now...as my wife and younger daughter watch CSI.

Church/State separation is essential to healthy government and freedom...
