I want to apologize to ALL our veterans and our active duty service men and women.
I know you signed up for a lot of different reasons. But, when you did sign up (or, those who were drafted), you expected to serve on behalf of all of us, on my behalf, to protect all rights guaranteed by our Constitution and to ensure our hopes and dreams would be safe.

Taking a stand for your fellow citizens required/s great courage and sacrifice by you. I honor you for demonstrating both.

:patriot:

What I apologize for,...is,...I failed to succeed at taking a stand for you. I tried my best, I did. I sacrificed time and energy, even a job, exercising the protections YOU literally gave your existence to defend.

I'm sorry I failed to succeed in overcoming/removing/prosecuting those exerting power over you whose interests were/are strictly self-serving. I am sorry I failed to take a stand for the mission you were intended to accomplish: the public defense.

Due to my failure, you have been forced, as a service member who cannot question the role of loyalty and owned by the executive branch of this government with the approval of the legislative branch, to serve interests other than the public defense.

I sincerely apologize for my failure to successfully take a stand for you. Please, forgive me, though. I did try. I sacrificed, too, albeit nothing like you.

:patriot:

Maybe, I'll do better in the future!!!

:patriot:

1. K & R with one slight change...
<snip>
Maybe, I'll do better in the future!!!
<snip>

I will do better in the future.

I Pledge..
I will work in my individual state towards legislation that will guarantee that ALL veterans from all wars will have health care no matter the cost.

I will work in my individual state towards legislation that will guarantee the ALL veterans will receive training for a new job if their employer was selfish enough to let them go. Or if the veteran had his/her own business and lost it the state will work towards helping that veteran get started again.

I will work in my individual state to push the governer of my own state and other state to protect our National Guard so that they serve ONLY Domestic issues.

I will do better in the future!!

3. I WILL do better from here forth.
I think,...I am just,...disappointed that, it seems all my work has been, for naught, for now.

Our service men and women have to know, however, there are many among us who work for them.

I am one of them.

2. appreciate it but we dont need a few doing alot
we need everyone doing a little, if everyone did alittle bit for this country and constitution the problems would be fixed in no time and we wouldnt need people to sacrifice everything to change things.

4. You are correct. If ALL took a little time to invest in the health of our nation,...
,...that would be an incredible revolution of democracy.

I sadly report how poor we seem to be in that respect.

7. You are right of course...
Logically, it takes many to get the things that need to be done accomplished but the many is made up of individuals who have decided that it is critical to become one of the many.....(if that makes sense)

Each of us has an obligation to be part of the larger solution.

I think we are all saying the same thing....

10. Our reps should be figuring out a way to start doing things right
or we will vote them out, it's as simple as that. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and they stabbed us in the back by compromising with the criminal administration.

6. I will continue to fight for a government that respects you and honors the U.S.A.
Neither of us invited the weakest or worst lot to rule over our lives. We couldn't imagine ANY American, let alone elected officials, engaging in intentional betrayal of our very meaning as Americans: moral, democratic, rule of law and shining example of human hope.

Those who betrayed you and me,...all of us,...will NEVER APOLOGIZE because their plan was about USING US for their purposes: not SERVING us for our best interests.

I apologize for failing to overcome them. At least, I tried.

I am glad I was one of millions upon millions of Americans who tried to cut them off from the beginning.

8. We did try....here is the difference between us and them...
And this is important....We were not fooled by the lies nor by the fear mongering that this Administration foisted upon this nation.

We have a media and an administration complicit in crimes against the Constitution and our military personel, for this they should be prosecuted. The Administration and all of the cronies that enabled this march to war "Crimes against Humanity and Treason", treason including instilling a false fear in the public so they could go to war and empty the National coffers.

For the media a complete breakup of the mega-monopoly Media corporations. Reagans deregulation helped us to get to the state we are in now.

The American people must demand this.

9. Yes. We fought against fraud and abuse. I guess I am apologizing on behalf of all those,...
,...who didn't fight, whether it be ignorance or struggle to make it or trust in both the media and government or willful complicity or sense of powerlessness,...

I suppose I should not be so arrogant as to offer an apology as broad as that. I am not all their spokesperson.

Nevertheless, I am still sorry, I feel aweful at how our selfless service men and women are being abused for purposes they never were intended to serve.

I feel sorry.
