Chechnya, a piece of nastiness that has fallen off the radar screen as our own mini Vlad got his own genocide on.

Just as we will be facing generations of blowback from the liberation and establishment of DemocracyTM in Iraq, I don't think history is done with the Russians over Chechnya.

2. Awful. I'm sure many Russians are ticked off about it, too.
When I was there in '95, mothers were going down to Chechnya to get their sons out of the army and bring them home. They were pissed. Many saw it as a quagmire, and that it still is. :(
