Enough with this "pro-choice" shit...
Let's call ourselves what it really is: Pro-freedom.

It is a freedom issue, after all -- freedom to do what you want to your own body.

Besides, if George W. Bush can abuse the term, we should be able to use it in at least an honest and appropriate way.

1. Enough with this "pro-life" shit. Let's call it what it really is: Pro-Preggers.
Whether one wants to be or not.

Or "anti-freedom."

3. Or, how about focusing on an issue that's being decided this decade?
Abortion is the past. The future is privacy.

4. You raise an important point about privacy as an urgent issue
but rest assured, if certain factions get their way, abortion as a hot-button issue will be a clear and present crisis. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance, 'tis said.

8. Abortion rights were originally decided on privacy considerations
The privacy of a woman to decide with her doctor how to manage a pregnancy.

12. Because privacy has never been the issue
Even though I feel these decisions should be left up to a patient and her(or his) doctor, privacy has never been what the anti-choicers are all about.

They want to stop any and all decisions that a doctor and patient agree on, just because they are more righteous than the majority of Americans.

5. I've always considered abortion a human right.
Condemning women to carry to term is a form of slavery and a thinly veiled attempt to punish women for being sexual.

7. I prefer "Forced-birthers"
The just want to force pregnancy and birth on unsuspecting women. Has nothing to do with loving life or some such claptrap.
