WHile I think he might be able to pull off a victory in 08, it would be his toughest and most expensive race ever. And he's gone deep into his supporters pockets for his wife's campaign. On the other hand, he had several hundred grand in the bank at the end of 06 and I imagine he saved up some for his senate race, so he may still have enough to make a run for it. I'm not sure he has the stomach for it, however, particularly being in the minority.
