On March 20, 2007, Dungy aligned himself with a socially conservative organization, the Indiana Family Institute, and openly supported an amendment to the Indiana constitution which would have defined marriage as solely between one man and one woman.

1. I really don't think they're trying to endorse homophobia with that ad.
It may have something to do with football.

Dungny is a conservative, and Belichik is a liberal.

I don't know if there was anything definitive concluded but I got the sense that Bill was a Rep.

"Belichick did admit to the Boston Globe's Dan Shaughnessy that he favored the Democrats over Republicans during the media craze leading up to the Super Bowl."

I kinda doubt that. Not that I can think of any offhand but football tends to be split down the middle. Golf and baseball tend to be Republican and basketball (America's actual homemade sport) is rife with Dems Libs Progs you name it.

35. Before you jump to far onto that "he cheated wagon"
Let me say that all the teams were doing this and they all knew everyone was doing it. It was common knowledge. One team decided to use it as a weapon. So yes the pats are now giving a big FU to the rest of the teams who sat back and didn't say shit when the Pats and Bill were fined.

29. uh..., about Brady
Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady wants to be a U.S. senator.

The native Californian told ESPN magazine recently that his "craziest ambition" is to run for political office.

At the age of 26, Brady may be America’s newest sports hero – but already one that's anathema to the media establishment.

Brady is apparently a Republican, at least in his sympathies. Already fearing that someday he just may pull a Schwarzenegger in California or his adopted Massachusetts, some big media guns are trying to tarnish Brady's image.

Even before his Super Bowl win, some media folks were irked that Brady showed up at the president's recent State of the Union address.

Brady joined Bush to show his support of the president's call for professional sports to implement strong anti-drug policies and programs.

30. Again, I have heard several sides to that one
Brady gets invited by the POTUS so he goes-no biggee there.

Lots of reoprts of Brady hosting a Kerry fundraiser at his house back in '04.

Basically both sides are trying to claim him.

There is no doubt that Manning is RED Republican.

So, which is it? Are you on board, or will you be going out this weekend to drag suspected homersexials behind yer pickemup truck?

43. I did a quick google - but I read a piece by a former NFL lineman
who was furious about this. He had played for 3 different NFL teams and he was unaware of this and pissed that the Pats did this.

He was also angry about the "well, they ALL do it" rationale, because HE didn't, his teams didn't and he didn't want to be lumped in with such pathetic sportsmanship.

We can he-said, he-said all you want - until the NFL comes forward and hands out all info on all cheating allegations and their investigation, we will never know. We do know that they heard about this being done by the Pats, investigated it and caught them. Who else have they caught?

One team decided to bitch about the Patriots. The rest of the teams sat back and said nothing.

The Pats are proving they didn't need videos to win this year.

It was a rule everyone was breaking and everyone knew everyone was breaking.
