Nobody except A&E apparently! If you've ever watched the show. Dog and Beth run around hunting mostly dark skinned Hawaiians. The native people who can't afford to live in their own homeland anymore due to GREED...The Dog and Beth show also includes rants from Beth. "You're taking food out of my children's mouth".. Like Beth's children are hungry..They never look hungry to me but I guess it's possible that Beth is eating their dinners for them..

Not only is Dog the Bounty Hunter a racist.. The whole show is racist. It has always been racist. A&E should be ashamed for this piece of crap. They have filled their pockets with evil and they know it.

Right now the show has canceled production. But they are just stalling. A&E has no intention of canceling the show. They knew it was a racist show to begin with. Don't let them get away with it.

I think that this Dog is the sort of person who is mostly afraid that if his son continues to date -- and gawd forbid marries -- his black college student girlfriend, Dog assumes that he will have to make some radical changes in how he behaves at home.

Then he won't feel "at home" any more. He knows he's kind of a pig, and he also knows that he's bound to behave really badly in her presence sooner or later.

She brings with her the prospect of cramping his style and making him work harder just to interact appropriately according to new rules -- and he resents that.



I think that something similar accounts for the "quizzing" that persons of racially ambiguous appearance often receive. A lot of people just don't deal well with ambiguity. If they don't know "what" they're talking to, then they become uneasy, because they don't know what the rules for the interaction are. Is this person one of us, or not? What can I say, and what is off limits?

So they have to work harder to police what they say, and that's tiring and uncomfortable, and they so they try to either solve the ambiguity, or they end the encounter.




Thing is, "racism" is not just one single thing. Aside from your full-time ideological racists, "racists" don't really form a discrete group sharing opinions, reactions, behaviors, or motives.
