3. Yeah, well, I went to two DFA meetings...
the second one to see if maybe I was wrong about them.

I wasn't.

A rep from the county Democratic party went to one meeting and didn't bother to give them a second chance.

20. Well, the short list...
They didn't know anything about the local party organization

They had no plans for actual work during an upcoming election-- signage, GOTV... all got "Wuzzat?" looks,

The meeting opened with "So, who will we get to run for the Senate seat?" Completely oblivious to the thousands of Party regulars who were already dealing with the major politicking for an empty Senate seat.

And, there was almost a fistfight. That's when the county party rep left.

and some of us have wondered about the DFA.....but then "some of us" were horrified at the antiquated facilities (computers/software) of our Dem Party Locals.

Dean did infuse some money but some of our Voting Rights (against DRE Machines) Activists have been suspicious of the motives of the DFA...because they seemed so "well funded" but somehow "so clueless" as to the MAJOR ISSUES facing the Democratic Party!

7. No doubt due to the "shit or get off the pot" email that DFA sent out about Gore.
Edited on Thu Nov-01-07 10:44 AM by Fly by night
Thanks for nothing, DFA fuck-wads.

Gore/Richardson '08. That's the ticket.

18. I saw this coming, the minute they altered their own poll,
with that second graph and the statement as to how the candidates would do if Al Gore didn't run, and for the record Kucinich is my second - third favorite candidate. I believe Al Gore's momentum was building up only to be snuffed by that change, had that not occurred, I believe Al Gore's lead would've continued to widen from the pack.

Kucinich fans have to cling to something I guess... ;)

Actually, I'd love to see Kucinich get it, but he's got a long way to go.
