If I were a religious person, I'd be wondering about the way the drought lands smack on the Bible Belt:

But, naaaah, that's just a coincidence.

It would really be fun to be able to spout this totally irrational BS and believe it. But I don't. Just having fun with the fundies.

7. Guess You Missed The Threads Here At DU....
....where one of our posters repeatedly expressed satisfaction for the ruinous effects of the southeastern drought....because of how screwed the economy is in his home state of Michigan.

To his credit, this individual followed up with a very gracious, well-received apology for those remarks......

8. It's a reward
for voting for Bush.

It's how it works.

You vote for a Republican hetero and get a guy who trolls mens rooms for sex.

You see, it all makes sense. If it does not make sense, you need to watch Fox News more.

9. Playing the Devil's Advocate here
Isn't the South considered "Red" area and do they not believe in Global Warming and because of that disbelief their God is going to show them they must change their ways and become caretakers of the Earth as God wished for mankind. If they don't want to take care of their planet then they will suffer the consequence. God created this world for all being and not just mankind. God created mankind to take care of his creation... just saying....

12. The city leasted affected by the drought is the city that exports cigarettes
Winston-Salem has a one year reserve of fresh water.
God wants us to smoke.
Just something to ponder.
