Tennessee lawmaker to propose mandating physicians issue a death certificate for each abortion.

2. What utter bullshit.
This is just another attempt to sway people to the "life begins at conception" mindset and futher forward their own agenda to control women.

Ugh.

18. I'm so ashamed for my state.
Why is it always about abortion? We need to be addressing the Third World infant mortality rate in our state.

7. And when good church-going women's names are found on
those 'death certificates'? And the names of many in the anti-choice movement see their names popping up in the media as having an induced abortion?

Gee, I wonder why the anti-choice crowd doesn't have a comment on this yet. Don'tcha hate it when your own side is about to 'out' you for your hypocrisy?

13. Well I think that'd be the ONLY benefit of this...expose the hypocrites
since these will be public record.

Of course, it's not worth it, but all the same that's what it'd do!

19. Personally, I think if you're one of those nutjubs that thinks the
only good abortion is your abortion (not you, of course, NYC) then I think you should be restricted by law from ever obtaining an abortion.

I agree with you - one of my first thoughts was, well, we'll see which of 'them' gets publicized first. Now let's see if they have the 'strength of their convictions.'

8. Great! Just great! Being next door to Tennessee, stupid ass GA lawmakers
will probably add this to their requirement of making all women view ultrasounds. That is until they go all South Dakota on us and make all abortions illegal (they are trying to now).

23. I actually love that idea. I have parishioners who tell me
"Marriage is just for procreation". If they believed that, they wouldn't want me doing weddings for any woman over child bearing age. Yet, they never object to that--just to same-sex couples. So, I think people should have to walk their talk. If marriage is only for procreation, lets enforce that. Seems fair to me.

It'll make these people think about what they're saying.
