because she supported the president.

why don't any of the dem candidates point out how we
now know that Bush knew about a defection by an Iraqi
cabinet member who said there were no WMD -- and
did not share this info with congress.
Although they should have known better, simply as
a point of information, his fact completely exonerates anyone who
voted for the war, imho, and I can't figure out why
they don't hammer this over and over.

1. The reality is...she's vulnerable to the charge
...and must share at least some of the blame.

Republicans are aware of this too. Look how many idiots voted for Nader in 2000.

5. And if the Democrats would let them
they'd blame the war, the Katrina foul up, and everything bush has done for the last seven years.

6. Well, they're not entirely wrong -- she DID enable it by voting yes on the IWR.
My own senator, Paul Wellstone, voted "no". Unfortunately, he's dead now...

9. Shift the blame. Convenient GOP tactic.
Since the Clenis isn't around anymore, Hillary Clinton will suffice as a target.
(Would Hillary be the Clintonis?)

10. Why doesn't she step up and call for an end to the illegal invasion?
Why does she say we will have troops in Iraq until 2013?

Hillary could do a lot to keep the repukes from calling this her war as well as Bush's.

13. Hillary said that she did not think the troops would be home
in her first term as President. Go figure.

12. Well it is her war and she can proudly claim it!
She could bring the troops home now (vote no on funding) and save herself but I don't see that happening. How did I know it was a bad idea and she didn't? Peace, Kim

14. She voted for it.
And she's not alone. And instead of questioning the phony intelligence and the lying that went on that got us into this war, Pelosi and Hill sit back and let the GOP continue to war-monger. The GOP is right on that much.

15. The truth hurts, doesn't it?

23 Senators knew what anyone worth their research salt could have known - that there were no WMDs in Iraq, that they had been wiped out completely by 1996 thanks to the UN program, and they had the chief in the field who did it, Scott Ritter, there telling them. They voted against the Iraq War Resolution, but Hillary voted for it and now comes with this lame excuse. If I knew there were no WMDs from basic research or reading the foreign press, so did she - otherwise she is a complete idiot. No excuses.

Tough, Hillary.
