Clan Of Young, Attractive Gypsies Swindling Central Florida Men

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A clan of young and attractive gypsies is targeting and scamming men in Central Florida, according to a Local 6 News report.

The report featured a woman named Cooter Anderson, 30, who is a traveling gypsy, according to police, and has allegedly worked between South Florida and Philadelphia.

"Cooter Anderson is the cover-girl for a gypsy business that doesn't play by the rules," Local 6's Mike Holfeld said. "It's a romance con game the gypsies call 'the sweetheart swindle or the sugar daddy job.'"

Local 6 News has learned that Anderson and other gypsies have apparently fleeced widowed men across the country for millions of dollars.

Now, Orlando's senior population has been caught in the same apparent trap, Holfeld reported.

6. I have a friend that committed suicide many years ago

after marrying a scumbag like this. Whilwind romance followed by 50,000 in credit card debt in two months after the wedding. Then she split, and he hung himself. He was a loney tech-guy that thought he had found true love.

7. A couple of years ago, there was a story on one of the cable channels

about security in Las Vegas casinos. One of the scams involved pretty young women sidling up to some guy while an accomplice reached around the other side of 'the mark' and helped themselves to his chips. A man who was head of security at one of the casinos said (I paraphrase), "Men, when a beautiful young woman starts paying attention to you, look in the mirror. It ain't because you're Brad Pitt." He went on to note that men are easier marks because they have an "exaggerated" image of themselves and their attractiveness. Yeah, I did a :spray: when he said that.

His 'target' audience was the men who'd been targeted who apparently think that way. They'd have piles of chips next to them on the table and think the young woman was 'suddenly' interested in them. I've worked in the casinos so it was especially funny to me. Though I don't know if I've ever seen that scam run, I have seen men 'puff and preen' when some attractive cocktail waitress pays attention to them; she's working for tips, he thinks she's 'hot' for him. I've had to fling 'cold water' on a few of my male friends over the years, as they flash around a wad of cash and then start saying "did you see how that waitress came one to me? She's sooo in to me." A few times they've been right. For the rest - it's more about that $20 bill you just slipped her. Oh, by the way, didt a mention that a part of my time in the casinos was as a cocktail waitress?
