I'm not an impeachment guy. Personally, I think our country will be better off waiting this out and taking the White House in 2008- as long as Bush doesn't do anything to screw things up EVEN more.

But, damn. How could Congress possibly think that they CAN'T impeach this guy? LESS THAN A QUARTER OF THE PEOPLE SUPPORT HIM! Congress' approval rating- at 11%- would probably double or triple overnight, just because they grew some balls.

Just a week ago I was wondering what happened to the impeachment threads. They got replaced by Gore threads (which I love and engage in).

if they did manage to impeach him and get someone else in. Could he run for a term? He'd be the incumbent then. I could just see some martial law declaration and then some asshole refusing to leave the White House because it was a national crisis. We could end up with some kind of hostile takeover. Bush is almost gone, let's get him out as cleanly as possible before he realizes what hit him. Any of the Democratic candidates is better, any of them!

C'mon- They claim "inflation" is under 4% on the news,
while fuel/energy cost has risen more than 200% since 2000
and my weekly grocery bill is expanding 25% a year.

If we used the same formula they used during the Great Depression,
we'd say that current UNEMPLOYMENT is around 15% and rising.
