Poll question: Is there a progressive talk radio station in your city?
Considering what's happening in San Diego, I was wondering just exactly how widespread is the availability of progressive talk on the radio (not just web streaming). In the Detroit area, we're fortunate enough to have two of them - WDTW Detroit and WLBY Ann Arbor. Is there access to prog-talk where you live?

5. Ours was turned into Salsa Music- spanish channel
Because lord knows here in BOSTON we need more Salsa dance stations and we certainly wouldn't want ONE liberal station in a sea of right wing bullshit.

Yes, I am pissed and bitter. They can take the Salsa music and shove it up there ass. Stupid jerkoffs at clearchannel.

THANKS MITTENS YOU ASSHAT! Still screwing Mass at every turn.

6. So just exactly WHERE is this LIBERAL MEDIA I keep hearing about?
It's not on cable television.

Most metropolitan areas don't have progressive talk radio.

The coverage of Bush's 24% approval ratings has been minimal at best, yet the Democrats taking donations from that disgraced law firm has been a headline. Which is more important? A pResident with approval numbers down in Richard Nixon territory, or taking money from an entity that MIGHT have done something wrong?

I dunno, but to me the President's poll info would seem to have a larger impact on the greatest number of people.

I'd still like to know where to find this liberal media we supposedly have. Darn if I can locate it anywhere, except for Air America which is difficult to find, and Countdown. But that's about it.

12. Hannity, Boortz and Limpballs Is All Atlanta Has To Offer
And Dave Ramsey and all the local conservative blowhards.

Got so sick of it I changed to sports talk radio. But even THOSE commentators can't keep their conservative politics out of the equation.

I'm so sick of it.

14. There used to be a small Air America station
Edited on Thu Oct-18-07 10:28 AM by mvd
But no longer. Pittsburgh and even State College have one, but not here in Philly - unbelievable. 1210 AM is mostly wrong wing extremists, with only a bit of Libertarian kookiness as a alternate viewpoint.
