What happened to the 1st amendment? Has that gone down the tubes as well?

1. The families of some of the fallen didn't want their loved ones names used.

From what I have read, they asked the t-shirt makers to remove the names, and then later filed a lawsuit to have them removed. Some states ruled that if the requested names didn't come off, then the shirts couldn't be sold in that particular state.

Personally, I have mixed feelings. I could assume that those who didn't want their loved ones names inclded were more than likely shrub-lovers, but that may not be accurate. I just don't know for sure.

5. I would think so, and I'm sure that is why the t-shirt makers so no problem in using the names.
I am surpirsed that any lawsuit would hold up, but I have no expert knowledge in these kind of matters.

6. i would think so
but pasting the names of dead loved ones has probably been twisted into something evil instead of a noble attempt to slow the senseless slaughter. Furthermore i belive it honors those who died - other their names would sink into oblivion since you can sure that gestapo would not allow them to be publlished

3. Someone needs to seriously look into this sort of thing.
No matter how I might think and feel about AntiWar TShirts,
this clamping down on expression conerns me. There has been
the effort to control dissidents during this war.
