In the last few weeks I have heard Hannity, Limbaugh, Gibson, and a host of other RW mouth-breathers attempt to use that term as a pejorative conflation of both "coward" and "traitor". Here's a heads up for "Never Heard a Shot Fired in Anger" Hannity, "Anal Cyst" Limbaugh, and "Shouldn't I be Gnawing Down a Sapling" Gibson. During WWII (none of you were old enough, but never mind, you would have found a way to avoid service anyway), George McGovern flew 25 missions in the cockpit of a B-22. He did so over occupied Europe, and piloted his craft squarely into the teeth of the heaviest flak barrage in the annals of warfare. For his "conspicuous gallantry in aerial combat" George McGovern received the Distinguished Flying Cross.
Where in the FUCK do a bunch of reflexively sycophantic shitweasel supporters of "AWOL" Bush and "Five Deferments" Cheney get off attempting to besmirch the valor and patriotism of a true American hero?
Blow me, assholes (except for you, Gibson, those teeth of yours look fucking dangerous.)
