We have Secretaries of HUD, Commerce and Treasury why do we need a "mortgage czar"?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democratic leaders in the U.S. Congress on Wednesday will call for appointment of a "mortgage czar" to deal with a spike in foreclosures and more spending to help troubled homeowners, sources familiar with the plan said.

Senator Harry Reid, the Senate's Democratic leader, along with Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the House of Representatives, will make their call at a press conference scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, the sources said.

despite their hypocritical claims to the contrary, just like their hypocritical brethren on the other side of the isle. Interesting how the government loves to spend money they don't have.

while committees ok the whole thing (or not) and they can say they are "doing something" about the problem.

That's what Bush does, contrary to every conservative credo: Got a problem? Create another government bureaucracy that becomes a shelter for cronies and against accountability.

These aren't Republicans (or Democrats, for that matter), remember. They are cold-blooded fascists, period. Government exists for them only to help corporations and cronies. Everybody else should go die in Iraq--or Iran. They don't care.
