Dear Jenna:

I have lived a few more years than you and I have met some really interesting people too. I'm sure my experiences would make a great book. Is there any way your big time publisher could contact me?

Just like Jenna's editor did for her - I'm sure that poor soul (the editor, not Jenna) is now taking a well deserved rest after that job.

2. Most first-time authors have to go through a lot of rejections

Not to mention a lot of polishing. I know several authors and, to a person, they've worked hard to get where they are. And they're working harder to make it in the "big time" - not just in their little niche. This is just another example of someone getting things handed to them because their last name is Bush. Like father, like daughter.
