So who is the woman Virginia Thomas said "apologized" to her and Clarence, for her role in opposing
him during his confirmation hearings?

Just saw "Ginnie" Thomas blab on about her on GMA today. But I didn't hear her identify this woman. Did she name her?

If she didn't, am I the only one who smells a rat? Hmm, make up a fictional character, put dialogue in "her" mouth and spout it back during a puff piece interview.

This sounds like a big, fat RW talking point and an attempt at rewriting history.

2. Sixteen years seems to be a long time to hold a grudge.
I mean really, Clarence has been on the dancing supremes for 16 years now. Yet by ending his book with his confirmation, he makes the whole confirmation appear to be the focal point of his life. And not a very happy focal point either.

So when will he get over the fact that his sexual come-ons to a woman who worked for him and wasn't interested, were brought up during his confirmation? I suspect he knew they would be discussed but makes a show otherwise.

He needs to get over this and move on. Perhaps some counseling would help.

4. They got it backwards ...
after looking into all the evidence against Clarence Thomas, smear merchant for the Right David Brock sent Anita Hill an apology (privately, of course) after dragging her through the mud and worse PUBLICLY ...

She did not parade around the apology, never acknowledging it publicly ...

(reference to the private apology from "Blinded By The Right" ... by former RW smear merchant and former fiction writer David Brock)

5. She always impressed me as a "class act" and has done NOTHING to prove otherwise!
Virginia Thomas has to do better than what she said. Back it up, lady! If you can't, why should I believe you?

P.S. When Thomas was at Yale, he did check out porn videos, as one video store owner said. He also skipped out on his personal property tax and was on the Grand List of deadbeats until he hastily paid up right before his nomination to the court!

The only negative things I heard about Anita Hill came out of David Brock's then poison pen. And we know THOSE were lies!

6. and what cracks me up is that the Coultergeist said about Brock
"What, you're going to believe an admitted liar?"

Uh, he admitted lying for the Rightwingers ... so now he's telling the truth, she cannot believe him, whereas when he was lying, she believed every bit? The mind reels ...
