Scott Pelley Interviews Iran's Leader
Edited on Fri Sep-21-07 11:09 PM by Timex
The interview will be broadcast Sunday, Sept. 23, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

On the other hand, does anyone else find Pelley's question to the Iranian president a bit offending where he asks Ahmadinejad "Sir, what were you thinking? The World Trade Center site is the most sensitive place in the American heart, and you must have known that visiting there would be insulting to many, many Americans"

The way the question is worded doesn't sound very professional; especially for an interview that is supposed to sound unbiased.

1. Too many Americans are bigots.

What a stupid question. Bush was the one who started this shit by rattling his saber about the 'Axis of Evil' in his SOTU speech following 9-11. Ahmadinejad may be a 'bad guy', but if someone threatened the U.S. in a major speech and then destroyed Canada in a pre-emptive war and we knew they had designs on all of the Americas, I think we'd be stocking weapons. God, it's embarrassing that American journalists are probably one of the dumbest segments of the population, and somehow, they represent us all as they insult world leaders with rude, dumbass questions.
