Those were the 3 questions the student who got tasered wanted answers to. Now I see threads saying he is an agitator, a heckler, a plant. Is this Democratic Underground or what?
Sheesh people get a grip. A young nervous student asks tough questions, is scared to death because he probably has parents who are as savy as us and has seen the pictures of Ab Gahraib. He is a YOUNG MAN! Oh yeah I forgot young men are enemy #1. Forget John Kerry and what he did or did not do. I have no doubt that John kerry could/would have side-stepped all those good questions. He did not call the cops. Who did? I wish Kerry had Shouted out and stopped it, but we really do not know what it looked like from up on stage. Where were the other "adults" in the room. This is a University event. No professors? No ticket takers? No one that could see that this young man was not a danger, just a person nervous and wanting answers? If people see this video and can't see that he was just nervous about asking those tough questions, I am shocked. I was so upset when I saw the video. PLUS his questions matched exactly my questions, BUT I never for a minute thought that Kerry would have condoned it. It took me a while to realize that Kerry probably couldn't see everything. When I posted I did not realize that people were interested in this to "flame" Kerry. I am new to the whole forum mob thing. I just reacted as a mother to what I saw. My son is newly at university and I would freak if this happened to him. Of course if he jumped the line I would be furious at him.

Now I am hearing that he rushed ahead of all these other people and had been having trouble with the police before. From where the video starts it does not seem like that. I can also understand NOW that Kerry could not see what was going on and it is unfair to blame him. I just reacted as a mom seeing a young man wrestled to the ground by police.
