Four officers desperately tried to remove Meyer without tasering him, but he continued to resist the officers, who eventually had to taser him. That's the key word here "resist."

Most state laws require you to follow a police officer's orders whether illegal or not. You can challenge the resisting arrest based on the orders being illegal, but it won't stop you from getting arrested. Sucks, but that's the way it is.
