HillaryCare then and now: the differences between her '93 plan and her '07 plan.
From New York Daily News

As I understand it, the new plan will offer a tax rebate so that even though there is no premium cap, a person would never have to pay more than a certain percentage of his or her income toward premiums. But I haven't seen what that percentage is or whether that percentage could ever increase. I also haven't seen anything about deductibles; co-payments; co-insurance; prescriptions; what's covered and what's not; and caps, if any, on what providers are allowed to charge.

I'm no insurance expert but I'm not getting a good feeling about this.

3. That's what I'm afraid of. I wonder if Michael Moore has had a chance to...
...analyze it, yet.

5. I am gonna have to learn more about it...
But at first blush, it sure looks to me like welfare for the insurance industry.

8. NOBODY who supports for-profit health insurance "Gets It."
It is un affordable on your own, and half ruinous through employers. For Profit is OBSOLETE.

12. You say, "I'm not getting a good feeling about this."
That's because it's total BS.

I'm not bashing Clinton, hers is not the only plan that fails to address the fundamental issue. But this really does illustrate the forces we are up against, and why the DLC types are not the ones who can lead us out of this mess.

Again -- not bashing any of them. I understand why they went for the corporatist agenda, it seemed like everyone was doing it, it was a tidal wave in fact. There are not that many Davids willing to take on Goliaths.

Or should I say, there are not that many Dennises willing to take on Big Insurances.

13. Are these candidates allergic to HR 676?
DK being the outstanding and courageous exception, of course.
