Yes you Hillary supporters gleefully support her but I bet you don't have to face buying medications that cost $150 a month or more and that nothing has gotten done to get rid of that crap Medicare Part D program and to place the benefit in part B unemcumbered by an extra $30 a month premium and an extra $275 a year deductible and unemcumbered by that nasty coverage gap and means test.

No, you wake up in the morning and support this coporatist who just boasted that the new health care plan will not invlove government. AS I see it, her new health care plan will look like Medicare Part D just expanded to every type of medical care.

Medicare Part D gives a meager benefit to retired and disabled people and anyone who believes it helps the middle class appears delusional.

I hope you Hillary supporters stay proud of what you will do to retiired and disabled people when Hillary does nothign for them. Oh she talks about a milquetoast action to get hhs to negotiate prices with the drug companies. SO what? You still have to pay a $275 deductible and $360 a year in premiums up above the $90 a month for part B and the $130 premium and have that means test.

No, Hillary will help the upper midle class and that appears it.

I want single payer universal health care, not what Hillary plans for this country.

I live in NY and right now have no plans to vote for Hillary in the primary. I have called every campaign office around the country and I could not have a conversation with anyone in authority about health care and how it does not help the retired and disabled.

I also called her Senate office in Washington and NY City and they say Hillary has no plans to call for the repeal of Medicare Part D and replace it with a simple benefit in Part B without extra premiums deductibles, coverage gap and means test. So much for her helping the exiles of Medicare Part D who refuse to jon part D because it stinks for many people.

Hillary's turning off her liberal base and I'm part of her liberal base. She's not a l;iberal. She appears a corporatist.

I joined the Democratic party in 1972. I'm not going to leave the party but the party's leaving me behind.

FEH!

1. So Hillary Clinton should personally write a bill, PASS a bill
and then over ride any veto the president signs. Hell I know people think it is "cool" "in" and all the other adjectives to bash Hillary but this reason is silly.

10. Hillary is a DLC, corporatist, warmongering POS.
Why she is leading is beyond me. I just don't think even a lot of Democrats that would like to see change in the early primary states have a clue to how dangerous she is.

I certainly don't see her as the darling dem candidate amongst the netroots. In fact, I think most people oppose her positions.

God, (If you're out there)PLEASE don't let her win the nom. I'll give up drinking, smoking, cussing, and even SEX!

2. I honestly believe that the goal posts were moved on what is considered Liberal.
I have been a Traditional Liberal Democrat, also in NY for my whole life. Born in the womb kind of thing. When Liberalism started to become a "dirty" word, many Democrats started to move towards center and some even right of center, so that being considered a Liberal now, is much like being RepukeLite ala Christie Todd Whitman. With those goal posts moved, Clinton IMHO has become a centrist and not a Liberal by the old definition. When she voted for the IWR, against the wishes of her Real NY Liberal base. including myself, I swore I would never vote for her again. This past November I pulled the lever for every Democrat but her. I did not record a vote for Senate.

And I echo your words... I'm not going to leave the party but the party's leaving me behind, too.

Is a corporate agenda really "centrism"? Or is it only "centrist" among Washington's media elite, influence peddlers and out-of-touch political class?

12. If Christy Todd Whitman looks liberal, even when she condemned police and firefighters to death
Edited on Wed Sep-19-07 04:55 AM by liberaldemocrat7

If Christy Todd Whitman looks liberal, even when she condemned police and firefighters and other workers to death by lying about the air quality in downtown Manhattan after 9-11 then I don't want her type of so called Liberalism active in my country.
