Jack Cafferty on Impeachment: Pelosi is Arrogant; Impeachment Was Put in the Constitution for a Reason
Submitted by Chip on Sun, 2007-09-16 07:04. Evidence | Impeachment

Excerpt from Time Magazine's Q&A with Jack Cafferty

Q: One new poll says that a majority of people favor impeachment for President Bush. Your reaction?

A: I'm not the least bit surprised. There's a case for taking a look at what the Administration may or may not have done that rises to level of high crimes and misdemeanors. Impeachment was put into the Constitution for a reason. I think it was perhaps one of the most arrogant things I've ever seen in my life for (House Speaker) Nancy Pelosi, on the day after Democrats won control of the House, to make this announcement as though this was Moses coming down with the tablets, that impeachment's been taken off the table. Well who the hell is she to take it off the table? It's part of the Constitution. I think there is reason to suspect that things have been done that may not be kosher, and I think the government's responsibility is to determine that. That's part of why they're there. That's what Congress does. That's the checks and balances. So whether he deserves to be impeached or not, I guess we'll never know, because they're not going to bother to look at it.

1. impeach Pelosi!
when a media yesman like Cafferty, whose satisfaction with bush and all his works only faded as the 'war' became a money pit, and threaten to cost mr pig money the regular taxpayer can't pay, which struck Jack as very cruel and thus let him see bush as a costly luxury Richamerica ie mr pig caint afford and thus makes impeachment a good idea- when a Jack Cafferty is to the left of nancy then something is bloody wrong. Nancy Betrayus...house squeaker

Edited on Sun Sep-16-07 07:58 AM by frogcycle
and then again I don't know that the questioner was correct in saying "one new poll" - they don't cite a reference that i could find

14. yeah, that's why I'm confused
because I would expect any such poll to be touted here loudly, and I haven't seen any that show a majority of Americans favoring impeachment (unless the question is asked along the lines of "if Bush did x and y....)

5. Cafferty and any other republican shill who gives advice to our party should be ignored
If anything, his advocating of an impeachment should give proponents caution. More than likely, he's just trying to exploit divisions in our membership. If proponents of impeachment can't see the folly in giving credence to a prick like Cafferty when he gives advice to our party, they might want to examine the effect of their own opposition to Democrats on encouraging this type of parroting. At the very least, folks should get smart and recognize and reject this type republican manipulation wherever it pops up.

7. Feck Jack Cafferty and the horse he rode in on
Edited on Sun Sep-16-07 07:55 AM by NNN0LHI
This prick was about as big a Bush ass kisser you could find when he was on CNN in the mornings. I suspect he still is.

I can just hear this fecker complaining about the Dems trying to impeach Bush with a "war going on" right now.

This guys job is to make Dems look bad and to take heat off the Republicans. It has been from the beginning.

I might have been born yesterday but it wasn't last night.

15. What consequences?
She'll be re-elected handily by her district, and return as Speaker under an even greater Dem majority.

20. Isuspect there are many democrats that will not vote for her or even vote for that matter
because of her. She has not in any manner helped the Democratic Party that I am aware of. She has divided it almost as much as Bush* has divided the Nation. She may get re-elected but she very well may cost the Democrats much more..

13. INFATUATION.
Madame Squeaker still smiling at her latest meeting with the Chimp:

Measuring the drapes or kissing a$$?

There is no need for Madame and Mouse to keep going to the WH. There are other means of communication that could be used to keep those contacts more professional and cold. Bush makes a monkey of her and she seems to love it.

Resign Madame, and let a man do the job you will not do.

17. Finger pointing in the wrong direction, again, eh, Jack?
He complains about Pelosi and the Dems, when he's actually part of the problem.

Look at the last line of his answer:

"So whether he deserves to be impeached or not, I guess we'll never know, because they're not going to bother to look at it."

Gee, Jack there are investigations going on, it's just that you (CNNMSNBCFOXETC) don't cover them!

Give the American People a showing of those hearings, let the Sheeple hear just what it is that Bush has done and how he did it, under oath, in a forum that would make Sam Ervin proud, and Dear old Nancy will change that table in a heartbeat. Any pol, male or female, in that position would if the groundswell is loud enough, Jack.

You got the mic, Jack, and YOU ain't doing Jackshit about it.

Jeesh
